New Delhi: Renowned lyricist Prasoon Joshi has been appointed as the Chairman of Prasar Bharati. This information was conveyed in a press release issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Notably, Prasoon Joshi is a well-known figure in the Indian film industry. He has left his indelible mark across diverse fields, ranging from cinema and the advertising world to literature. Many magnificent and memorable songs have flowed from Prasoon Joshi's pen.

Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw stated, "My heartfelt congratulations to Prasoon Joshi on his appointment as the Chairman of the Prasar Bharati Board. Prasoon Joshi is an exceptionally creative individual whose work in advertising, literature, art, and cinema has garnered global acclaim.
