Salim Dola, close aide of Dawood Ibrahim, deported from Turkey to India (X)
New Delhi: Salim Dola, a close associate of mafia kingpin Dawood Ibrahim, was deported to India on Tuesday following his arrest in Istanbul. Dola was brought to the Delhi Airport via a special aircraft in coordinated operation between Indian intelligence and international agencies.
According to reports, Salim Dola was brought to Delhi's technical airport this morning by a special flight following his arrest in Turkey's Istanbul.
Dola, who is wanted for drug trafficking, was arrested on April 25 after the Narcotics Crimes Division of the Istanbul Police Department launched a targeted operation to intercept the Indian national.
He was found hiding in a residence in Turkey's Beylikduzu district.

Intelligence agencies are interrogating him there. Following the interrogation, Dola will be handed over to the Mumbai Police for further questioning and investigation.
Salim Dola is considered a key figure in the international drug trafficking network. According to investigative agencies, his network extends to India, Dubai, and other countries. Most importantly, he is said to have links to India's most wanted underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's D-Company. It is said that Salim Dola was initially active in Mumbai's Dongri area and later relocated to Dubai. From there, he expanded his drug business internationally and operated the supply chain in India.
