DJ Noise at Wedding Spark Shock in UP: 140 Chickens Die, Case Registered in Sultanpur

Sultanpur: A shocking incident has emerged in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, where the joy of a wedding procession and the noise of a DJ led to the death of 140 chickens at a nearby poultry farm. Following the incident, the poultry farm owner filed a police complaint against the DJ operator.

Where did the incident happen?

The strange incident happened in Uttar Pradesh's Sultanpur district on the night of April 25.  

According to the Sabir Ali Poultry Farm owner, who is identified as Sabir Ali, which is located near the village, the wedding procession of Dariyapur resident Babban Vishwakarma's daughter moved through the village. The wedding procession came from Ram Bhadra Purva in Kudwar and the DJ was playing at high volume. 

As per Sabir Ali, when the DJ passed in front of poultry farm, the chickens were in a panic. 

How did the chickens die?

Sabir Ali said that 140 chickens in the farm died due to the DJ's loud sound playing around 9:30 pm. According to him, the noise was so intense that the chickens could not tolerate it and hence died in panic. 

What did the police say?

Following the chickens' deaths, the poultry farm owner filed a complaint with the Baldirai police station. Considering the seriousness of the matter, police have registered a case against DJ operator Kavi Yadav, a resident of Parsipur, Kudwar police station, under various sections. 

Police are investigating whether the DJ was producing noise exceeding the prescribed sound standards, leading to the chickens' deaths.
