Delhi Traffic Alert: Major Roads to Face Curbs Near Arun Jaitley Stadium Due to IPL Match Today (x)
New Delhi: Traffic restrictions have been tightened in the national capital on Saturday in in view of the Indian Premier League match between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings at Arun Jaitley Stadium. In view of the possibility of heavy crowd and traffic jam in Central Delhi during the match, the traffic police has issued an advisory.
The day-night match will run from 3 pm to 7:30 pm, due to which a large number of spectators are expected to arrive and the pressure of vehicles on the main roads may increase.
According to the Delhi Traffic Police, restrictions and diversions will be imposed on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and Jawaharlal Nehru Marg from 1 pm to 9 pm depending on the situation.

The Delhi Traffic Police said that the entry of spectators into the stadium will be regulated through designated gates.
Parking of general vehicles will not be permitted near the stadium. Only authorized vehicles will be allowed access. Parking spaces have been designated near JP Park, Vikram Nagar, and the JJB Prayas office.
